Dinosaur Paper Plate Animals

A roaring and soaring good time! Create this dinosaur paper plate craft at home using Crayola supplies and items you already have on hand.

Supplies Needed

Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! From paints and markers to glue and scissors, our crafts section has everything to spark creativity and make every project truly special.

Steps

  • Step 1

    Paint an upside-down plate and 2 clothespins. Dry 1–2 hours. Add second coat. Dry 1–2 hours.

  • Step 2

    Using plate as guide, sketch dinosaur scales on cardstock. Cut out.

  • Step 3

    Sketch and cut out construction paper head and tail.

  • Step 4

    Flip plate right-side up. Glue scales, head, and tail to plate.

  • Step 5

    Add glue to rim of plate. Fold in half and press down to secure. Let all glue steps dry 1–2 hours.

  • Step 6

    Clip clothespins to bottom of plate to create legs.

  • Step 7

    Draw facial features with markers.

  • Step 8

    Add sparkly accents with glitter glue. Dry 3–4 hours, then have a dino good time!
