Steps

  • Step 1

Paint the bottom and sides of the cork lid with yellow paint. Set aside to dry 1–2 hours.

  • Step 2

Mold 2–3 fish out of different colors of Model Magic.

  • Step 3

Unbend paper clips into straight lines. Cut the paper clips to make them different lengths.

  • Step 4

Stick paper clips into the bottom of the fish. Then, stick paper clips into the bottom of the cork lid to secure.

  • Step 5

To make seaweed, draw wavy lines with a pencil on a piece of green construction paper and cut out with scissors.

  • Step 6

Fold the bottom of the seaweed to create a tab. Apply a small amount of glue and attach to the bottom of the cork lid to surround the fish.

  • Step 7

Carefully place the jar upside-down on top of the cork lid.

  • Step 8

Paint a wavy of blue paint around the top of the jar to create “water.”
