It’s alive...with Crayola Paint, of course! This Frankenstein Pumpkin Painting craft is a no brainer—display as a DIY pumpkin decoration at your monster bash.

Create It Yourself

Supplies Needed

Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! From paints and markers to glue and scissors, our crafts section has everything to spark creativity and make every project truly special.

Steps

  • Step 1

    Pour yellow and blue paint onto disposable plate. Mix to make green.

  • Step 2

    Paint entire pumpkin. Dry 1–2 hours, then add second coat. Dry 1–2 hours.

  • Step 3

    Paint facial features and hair onto pumpkin.

  • Step 4

    Add embellishments such as scars and teeth using markers.

  • Step 5

    Shape a piece of Model Magic into a bolt.

  • Step 6

    Glue bolt to side of pumpkin.

  • Step 7

    Repeat steps 6–7 to complete Frankenstein monster. Dry overnight.

  • Step 8

    Display your DIY pumpkin decoration inside or outside!
