Steps

  • Step 1

First, start by creating the interactive jar lid. Using multiple colors of Crayola Acrylic Paints, paint the lid in equal parts. Let dry.

  • Step 10

To place the spinner on the lid, line the paper clip edge to the middle of the lid. Using adult assistance, pierce a circle through the middle of the lid with an exacto blade. Place a fastener through the paper clip and the lid.

  • Step 11

Now that it’s complete, you can spin the arrow, pick a craft stick of that color, and see what healthy task you end up with!

  • Step 2

Collect several jumbo craft sticks and paint each one yellow, green, blue, or red. Set aside and let dry.

  • Step 3

Cut a small arrow out of white cardstock and glue to a small paper clip with Crayola School Glue, leaving the bottom edge open.

  • Step 4

On white cardstock, draw a character with Crayola Doodle Markers. Then, cut out the character around the drawing and with two long rectangle flaps coming out of the top and the bottom of the character.

  • Step 5

To create an outside scene, cut out a long rectangle that’s about 9 inches long and 3.25 inches tall from Crayola Construction Paper. Draw and color in the scene with Crayola Color Change Markers.

  • Step 6

To create an outside scene, cut out a long rectangle that’s about 9 inches long and 3.25 inches tall from Crayola Construction Paper. Draw and color in the scene with Crayola Color Change Markers.

  • Step 7

Loosely tape the edges together around the Peter Pan Peanut Butter jar, leaving room for the paper to spin around the jar without falling off.

  • Step 8

Glue the top and bottom rectangle edges of the character to the Peter Pan Peanut Butter jar.

  • Step 9

Once the craft sticks are dry, write a healthy activity on each craft stick.
