  • The rainbow of colors in this collection of Model Magic is a colorful inspiration for artists ages 3 & up. This Model Magic Classpack contains 75 individual packets of modeling clay alternative, featuring White, Blue, Yellow, and Red colors. Primary colors can be mixed completely for new colors or only partially for a marbleized look. Pouches allow for easy quantity control, keeping unused Model Magic fresh and making it easy to provide students with take-home materials for afterschool projects. These classroom supplies allow teachers to open the exact amount required, resulting in less waste. The art set includes a free lesson plan booklet filled with 6 colorful pages of great ideas on how to use Model Magic in the classroom. This modeling clay alternative is ideal for science projects, dioramas, or anywhere you want to teach in 3D.

      However,you may be interested in the Crayola Portfolio® Series Oil Pastels Classpack® or the Crayola Oil Pastel Classpack. A Classpack is typically popular among teachers. It is a large box that is divided into sections. In each of the sections you will find a stack of the same color.

      The Portfolio Series Oil Pastels Classpack (300 count total) contains 12 assorted colors, 25 of each color. The Crayola Oil Pastel Classpack (336 count total) contains a total of 12 colors, 24 each of 10 colors and 48 each of black and white.

      Yes, Crayola® Model Magic® pieces can be sealed once they are completely dry. The drying time for Model Magic generally takes 24 hours to dry to the touch and 72 hours (about 3 days) to dry completely.

      How to seal dried Model Magic sculptures:

      1. Apply a thin layer of acrylic varnish to a test sample to check for compatibility before using it on the finished piece.
      2. If the varnish is compatible, apply an even coat over the entire sculpture.
      3. Allow the varnish to dry completely before handling your masterpiece.

      Important Note: Sealing your work will not make it waterproof. Exposure to water and outdoor elements will negatively affect Model Magic, so it is best to display your sculpture indoors.

    • White craft glue or school glue works best to adhere Crayola Model Magic to itself and other objects.

    • Crayola® Model Magic® modeling compound is water-soluble and can be removed by washing hair as usual with shampoo and warm water. In addition, Model Magic is an air-drying compound, and once dry, should slide off from the hair strands.

    • Crayola® Model Magic®, whether still wet (as sold) or dried, may be disposed of as a household waste. There are no known restrictions for its transportation or disposal. Typical curbside-pickup household waste systems may be used for environmentally safe disposal.
